Shooters for Aust.

A team of 15 smallbore shooters from the Christchurch club will compete in the Australian national championships in Adelaide next March. The team includes two invited marksmen from Blenheim, John and Jenny King. A New Zealand representative team is expected to compete in Adelaide as well.

New Zealand will also take part in the South Pacific regional championships,

in Brisbane, from January 31 until February 8. The squad, which will include teams in three-positional, air rifle and prone events, will be selected at the end of the national trial at the Burnett Range, McLeans Island, this week-end. Eleven South Island shooters will take part in the trial — Jan Neale, Dean

Watson, Grant Stewart, Pauline Burgess and lan Pottinger (Christchurch),

Robin Heaton and Lindsay Smith (Timaru), Warren' Smith and Leon Griebel (Nelson), Stewart Town-: shend (Waimate) and Rachel Collins (Invercargill). The Christchurch club team for Adelaide is: Pottinger, Burgess, Neale, Margaret Palmer, Bill Drayton, Eric Judson, Robert. Duff, Brian Roswell, John Glass, Chris Smith, Bill Walters, John Neale and Tony Burgess. ,• 1
