BAILEY, John Desmond (formerly of Northern Ireland) — On December 3,1985, at Christchurch, cherished husband of Nell, loved and devoted father of Anne and Lorna, respected friend and father-in-law of lan and Willem, and a much loved granddad of Christopher, John and Hanneke; aged 60 years. Love's last gift — remembrance. Flowers respectfully declined, but If desired, donations to the Christchurch Hospital Haematology Department would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. The entire Funeral service will be held In St Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, corner Aorangl and Ilam Roads, Tomorrow (Friday), at 2 p.m. Lamb and Hayward, Ltd, ' F.D.A.N.Z. (Inc.).
CLELAND, Nellie (late of Worcester Street) — On December 4, 1985 (peacefully), at The Princess Margaret Hospital, beloved daughter of the late Robert and Eliza Cleland, dearly loved sister of Liz (Mrs Ramsay), and the late Jean, George, and Sam, and much loved friend of Barbara Thomson and family. DOWNES, Terrence Michael — On December 3, 1985, at Christchurch, dearly loved father of Mario, Lucia, and Anna-Marla, loved brother and brother-in-law of Aureen and Paul Crichton, and Joe and Vivian Downes, and much loved uncle of his nieces and nephews; aged 44 years.
