Darts winners

Barry Whittaker and Gordon Allpress won the Kaiapoi 2000 darts tournament recently from 71 other pairs. Bryan Martin and Vaughan Clung were second, and Bob Kerr and Gary Rule third. Fourth place was filled by Lou Nelson and Brian Trethaway. The final four pairs played a round robin senes to decide the tournament winner.

Allpress, Whittaker, Brent Bartholomew and Preston Ridd will represent Canterbury in a competition against Marlborough at the Crow Tavern, Picton this weekend. The teams will be competing for $lOOO prize money.
