PA Wellington The Leader of the Opposition, Mr McLay, looks as though he obtains his television make-up from an embalmer, according to the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, at a press conference this week. Commenting on National Party problems, Mr Lange also said he was a supporter of Mr McLay in the leader-
ship struggle. However, he said, hehoped the Opposition’s Deputy Leader, Mr Bolger, would give him a better run for his money if he succeeded Mr McLay. “I’m supporting Mr McLay ... for second place Mr Bolger, and if I had a quinella opportunity it would be George Gair,” Mr Lange said.
