The lime is to be evenly spread over 38 hectares at a rate of 5 tonnes of lime per hectare. The area Is moderate to steep hill country located under the Benmore-Hay-wards transmission lines and as such is suited only to spreading by 4 x 4 tractor or similar. It is recommended that prospective tenderers Inspect the area before submitting a tender and this can be arranged by contacting the Officer in Charge, Ashley Forest (contact Forest Ranger, L. D 43 which must be signed within 14 days of acceptance of tender and before work commences.
