The Levin operation is headed by a young and enthusiastic management team in producing and marketing packaging materials for a wide range of industry applications. The plant is currently undergoing further expansion to cope with market demand. In, reporting to the Divisional Manager, and with the support of six staff, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring appropriate standards are met in: • Financial accounting • Management reporting • Capital expenditure evaluations and project accounting • Annual budgeting • Inventory control Key attributes preferred in the appointee include formal accounting qualifications, experience within a manufacturing oriented environment, and familiarity with computerised systems. Real prospects for further career advancement, based on successful performance, would exist in due course. Levin is an attractive provincial town located within an hour's drive from Wellington and the amenities of the plant are of a high standard, offering a most pleasant working environment.
