The New Zealand judo team has been named for .the Oceania championships at Auckland from November 2224. The team released by the New Zealand Judo Association official, Mr Peter Miles, is:— Women: Lois Walker (Dunedin), Dana Hilton, Donna Guy, Wendy Watene, Sheryl Samuels (Auckland), Helen Dash, Leah Smith, Karen Peters (Central Districts), Brenda Lestly, Antonia Wong, Janet Poole (Canterbury), Shiri Lagon (North Wellington). Junior men: Alister McPhail, John Rawiri, Ross Crouch, Andrew Hundleby, Mark Muir, Craig Muir, Darren Edy (Canterbury), Michael Clark, Paul Wong, (Waikato-Bay of Plenty), Dean Wairepo, Stephen Samu-
els (Auckland), Craig Monoghan (Southern), Leon Mclndoe (North Wellington). Senior men: Kevin Hunter Smtral Districts), Craig ran, Dean Fairley, Brent Cooper, Steven Corkin, Jeff Watson, Wayne Watson, Dave Browne (Auckland), Troy Deckers, Chris Smith, Mike Smith, Chris Riccard, Scott Holden (Waikato-Bay of Plenty), John Moody, Graeme Spinks, Philip McSweeney, Mike Smith (Canterbury), Bill Vincent, Kevin Vincent (North Wellington). The manager is Mr Norm Holden (Waikato-Bay of Plenty) and the men’s coach is Mr Barry Madden (Auckland). The women’s coach is Mr Ben Griffiths (Auckland).’
