Lauda's choice

When Ferrari announced its new 305km/h GTO with its centrally-mounted 2855 cu cm V 8 engine earlier this year, it was stated that the production run would be 200 and neither more nor less. But the Maranello highperformance car-maker has now let it be known that the production run has been increased to 301. The reason is that Niki Lauda, three times the world champion racing driver, has placed a late order. Lauda won the world championship in 1975 and again in 1977 driving Ferraris. Last year he won the championship in a McLarenTag. Lauda, will retire from racing immediately after the Australian Grand Prix on November 3.
