The Secretary will be employed by the Water and Soil Directorate of the Ministry of Works and Development and will be responsible to the Deputy Chairman of the Authority. The Secretary will be required to service the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Authority, work with the Director of Water and Soil Conservation to ensure that the Authority’s objectives are achieved, to maintain liaison with Government agencies, catchment authorities and other organisations concerned with water and soil conservation and to represent the Authority as required.
