Mexico aid appeal
The Red Cross has been overwhelmed by Canterbury’s response to the aid appeal for victims of the Mexican earthquake. More than $16,000 * has been given since the appeal was opened on September 24 with an anonymous dona-
tion of $9OOO. . > • • ’ . All money raised will be used to'deliver emergency’ supplies daily to the area. The appeaT will close on October 9. All donations should be sent to “Mexican Appeal,” Red Cross; P.O. Box 217, Christchurch.
