Poet hurt in crash
NZPA-PA London The poet, Pam Ayres, has been hurt in a car crash near her Oxfordshire home. The police said the accident happened at Witney. She suffered chest and neck injuries when a car driven by her husband, Dudley Russell, was in collision with another. She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but not detained.
