Wheat price
A strengthening in the value of the New Zealand dollar, combined with a slight easing in the price of Australian standard white wheat, has dropped the New Zealand Wheat Board’s indicator price for this week by $6 to $240 a tonne f.o.b. The value of the New Zealand dollar against the United States dollar last week rose from 0.5390 c on Monday to 0.5650 yesterday. The price, of Australian standard white wheat eased $1 to SUSI3I yesterday.
