Cobble Coat for paving
To help reduce the cost of paving your patio or driveway with cobblestone, Duncan Grey, Ltd, has come up with another innovation — Cobble Coat.
Instead of paying extra to have the old surface of your paving pulled up, Cobble Coat can be laid over your existing pavement surface.
It is reinforced with a mesh membrane and, when finished, is identical to the
Cobblestone original. One point to remember is that with Cobble Coat you must allow for a 50mm difference in height because of the existing paving surface beneath it.
In aesthetic appearance it is very pleasing. Because it is concrete, it is both strong and durable. The original cobblestone, from which Cobble Coat was derived has been developed by Duncan Grey to the
point that the firm now boasts 24 different types. These range from the traditional cobblestone to tile and brick patterns, and flagstones. Colour in tiles ranges from the traditional Welsh Slate, Coffee Brown, Smokey Granite, Nutmeg, Buckingham Brown, Chilton Charcoal to Biscuit, Lincoln Green, Hampshire Red, Cotswold Orange, and Red Nugget.
