Two houses burnt
A fire started in a Sydenham house and spread to a second one about 11.30 p.m. yesterday. The houses, at the corner of Gasson Street and Wordsworth Street, were derelict, said the Fire Service. Two engines went to the fire, which was put out by 12.15 a.m.
