Sambron does job of many machines
The Sambron J24T, a multi-purpose, rough-ter-rain, telescopic-boom, materials handling machine, will debut at Contract 85. It can do the work of many machines — forklift, loader, dumper, hoist and crane. Two J24Ts will be on display — one in a static situation and the other to show what it can do in a series of demonstrations. Made in France, the Sambrons have been brought to New Zealand by the Titan organisation. The managing director of Titan, Mr Max Whiley, said that the machine can be of great benefit to contractors, farmers, horticulturalists, freight forwarders and builders. The Sambron can use a
wide range of quick-change front-end attachments — excavating buckets, crane jib, hay-bale handling, silage forks, forklift with side attachment, and concrete buckets. The changing of attachments is completed in seconds by the driver at the push of a button in the cab. Features of the Sambron include: proven hydrostatic transmission notable for its simplicity and reliability; instant forward and reverse, which reduces load times; an inching pedal, providing precision manoeuvring in all conditions; and a fourwheel drive performance with equal-size low-profile tyres to ensure the J24T keeps toiling under the toughest conditions.
