CCL change at top
PA Wellington The executive director of CCL Group, Ltd, Mr Errol W’illiams, has been appointed managing director of the company, the chairman, Mr John Holdsworth, announced.
Mr Williams, executive director responsible for CCL Business Systems, Ltd, was formerly owner and managing director of Southern Group, Ltd, a computer services company bought by CCL last year. He was now a major shareholder in CCL, Mr Holdsworth said in a statement to Stock Exchange. The appointment followed the resignation of Mr Dennis Rowe as managing director.
Mr Holdsworth said that Mr Rowe had exercised his rights
under his contract, having completed a three year-term as managing director, during which time the company had made considerable progress with a record profit in 1985.
