Trophy to View Hill
PA Invercargill View Hill, from the North Canterbury Pony Club, is the winner of the 1985 Springston Trophy. View Hill, holder of the trophy last year, led throughout the three-day South Island event which ended in Invercargill on Sunday.
The winning team was made up of Elizabeth Liddell (captain), Matthew Davidson, Carolyn Parris, Manda Vincent, Charlotte Cox and Lucy Cottrell. Leading place-getters: View Hill, 114 points, 1; Rangiora No. I, 124.67, 2; Waihora, 134.33, 3; Kaikoura, 141.33, 4; Halswell, 145, 5; Windsor, 156, 6; Waikouaiti, 159.67, 7.
