Stolen cars found in riverbeds
Eight cars taken from Christchurch at the weekend were later found by the Rangiora police in the Waimakariri and Ashley riverbeds.
Two of the cars were burnt out.
A car taken from Percival Street, Rangiora, in the early hours of yesterday morning was later recovered in Belfast. The police are investigating.
A total of 56 vehicles were taken in the Christchurch area during the week-end.
