Colour photo on sale
A great many readers of “The Press” yesterday wanted extra copies of the newspaper because of the aerial coloured photograph, showing Sumner and the Estuary in the foreground, that appeared on the feature page. Some were interested in buying a photograph, which would be costly. Because of the demand, the photograph is being reproduced on glossy art paper and will be on sale at $5 a copy from Tuesday morning at “The Press” offices in Cathedral Square and Gloucester Street.
The reproduction will be on the same scale as the newspaper photograph, and will have extra white surround for those who have said they want to frame it.
