North Canterbury Catchment Board & Regional Water Board NO. 701 WATER AND SOIL CONSERVATION ACT 1967 APPLICATIONS FOR GRANT OF RIGHT NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of the receipt by it of the following applications. 0393, J. A. FURSDON, OXFORD, to discharge up to 1 cubic metre of septic tank effluent per day from each of eight residential lots into the ground via field tile disposal systems in circumstances which may result in that effluent or any other waste emanating as a result of natural proceses from that effluent entering groundwater. Location of proposed subdivision — corner of Harewood Road and Burnt Hill Road. 0386, NEW ZEALAND ARMY, WEST MELTON, to discharge up to 81.6 cubic metres of septic tank effluent per day into the ground via sand filter disposal system in circumstances which may result in that effluent or any other waster emanating as a result of natural processes from that effluent entering groundwater. Location of disposal site — West Melton Rifle Range. 0394, DEPARTMENT OF LANDS AND SURVEY, LOCH KATRINE, to discharge up to 2 cubic metres per day of septic tank effluent from a public toilet block into the ground via a field title disposal system in circumstances which may result in that effluent or any other waste emanating as a result of natural processes from that effluent entering groundwater. Replacing NCY 800073. 0283, W. T. MCKEOWN, RANGIORA, to take up to 42 cubic metres of water per day at the maximum rate of 7.5 litres per second for spray irrigation, and 0.5 litres per second for trickle irrigation, for 30 days per month from a 6.7 metre deep bore at Golf Links Road, Rangiora. (Previous right 730061). 0398, D. R. FREE, OHOKA, to take up to 1656 cubic metres of water per day at the maximum rate of 23 litres per second for 30 days per month, from a 13.7 metre deep bore for irrigation purposes at property on Jacksons Road, Ohoka. (Previous right 730441). 0390, A. A. TABOR, OHOKA, to take up to 1987 cubic metres of water per day at the maximum rate of 23 litres per seco'nd for 30 days per month, from an 18.3 metre deep bore for irrigation purposes at Bradleys Road, Ohoka. (Previous right 740373). 0389, MAIN SOUTH ROAD ORCHARDS, TEMPLETON, to take up to 786 cubic metres of water per day at the maximum rate of 27.3 litres per second for 30 days per month, from a proposed 100 metre deep bore at Waterholes Road/Main South Road, Templeton. 0391, J. R. ANDREW, MOTUNAU, to take up to 327 cubic metres of water per day at a maximum rate of 7.5 litres per second from the Motunau River at or about Map Reference 5068:393148 for spray irrigation purposes. Replacing NCY 830118. 0500, M. J. TRENGROVE, WEEDONS, to take up to 32 cubic metres of water per day at the maximum rate of 1.5 litres per second for 30 days per month, from a proposed bore for trickle irrigation at corner of Newtons and Rolleston Road, Weedons. 0501, M. J. TRENGROVE, WEEDONS, to discharge up to 1 cubic metre of septic tank effluent per day into groundwater via soak pit disposal system at property, corner of Newtons and Rolleston Roads, Weedons. SUBMISSIONS OR OBJECTIONS The above applications may be examined at the office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, corner of Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch, during office hours.
Any body or person may at any time within 28 days of this notice, lodge with the Board written submissions on any application or an objection to any application. Every objection shall be on the ground that the application would prejudice the objector’s interests or the interests of the public generally, and shall be made in writing setting out the grounds on which the objector relies. Every objection shall be supported by a statutory declaration verifying the contents thereof, and shall be accompanied by a $2O deposit.
