The Resource Centre is a small, intensively used library and publication centre which operates throughout New Zealand in support of Arts Council programmes and initiatives within the arts and other communities. The library collection specialises in arts administration, cultural policy, and the community arts movement. Applications are invited from qualified librarians for this position. Some background and experience in research or community development work would be an advantage. The successful applicant, in addition to undertaking to provide reference, bibliographic, and information services, would be responsible for assisting to develop the role of, and potential for, the arts In traditionally non-arts areas.
