ASPAK INDUSTRIES LIMITED is involved in the storage, handling and processing of edible oils and the manufacture and marketing of margarine and formulated fat products. Modern offices, manufacturing facilities and an oil refinery are located on one site in Auckland providing an excellent working environment for over 70 employees. This growth company is the market leader and with its strong product development and marketing philosophy is well placed to expand its market share of consumer products to consolidate its leadership. The pending retirement of the present encumbent makes this position available. The successful applicant will be expected to take up his appointment early in 1986. Following a “phasing in" period the appointee will assume I total responsibility for the company reporting to the Board of Directors and will be expected to sustain the growth, profit and RONF performance that has been built up since incorporation, through the application of modern management principals and practices. The position is supported by experienced managers responsible for the operations, financial and marketing functions. REQUIREMENTS: • Proven profit management success in a multidiscipline environment. • Broad management skill, supported by a strong marketing philosophy, commercial financial acumen and planning and strategy formulation abilities. • Experience in consumer foods/packaged goods industries would be an advantage. a ©A tertiary qualification in commerce or marketing is desirable. • Age range flexible, but preferably 35-45 age group.
