New cricket chairman
Mr Brian Adams is the new chairman of the Canterbury Cricket Association. He was appointed by the association’s incoming management committee after the annual meeting on Wednesday evening. Mr Adams, who has Jbeen on the C.C.A.’s
committee for the last 11 years, will take over from Mr Alby Duckmanton who stood down as chairman after five years in that position. Mr Duckmanton will remain Canterbury’s delegate on the New Zealand Cricket Council’s board of control.
