Brookstone, a New Hampshire chain, is advertising a comet-picnic container, a comet-watcher’s knee-pad and a comet-watching telescope. Another company is offering 24 comet products, ranging from day-glo clothing to balloons. “There’s a SUSI billion potential market for companies doing Halley’s comet business,” said Jack Goldenberg, president of Halley’s Comet Interplanetary Corporation.
