People urged to control planning

PA Hamilton People must seek more control of planning, growth and change in their community, said Ms Sonja Davies, the vice-president of the Federation of Labour. Ms Davies was addressing a Waikato Technical Institute seminar, Future Directions in Continuing Education, on communities of the future.

“We need to plan communities that will serve the needs of people living in them. It will mean taking control and some people won’t like that,” said, Ms Davies.
