Sovereign meeting
PA Wellington The directors of Sovereign Gold Mines, Ltd (in receivership), have called a meeting of shareholders to vote on proposals affecting the company. They told the Stock Exchange that they had received competing offers for Sovereign and that, because of the nature of the offers, it was considered necessary to call a meeting of shareholders to vote on the various proposals. Shareholders would be advised by mail over the next few days as to the venue.
