BOWES, Henry — On August 4, 1985, at Hastings, loved husband of Ena, 212 Lumsden Road, Hastings, father of Geoffrey, Jennifer Moloney (Wellington), and Alalstalr (Auckland); from the marriage of the late Valerie Bowes, stepfather of Derek Shaw (Auckland), Murray Shaw (Perth), and Rodney Shaw (Walnul, Banks Peninsula), father-in-law of Sandra, Fiona, David, Jenny, Barbara, and Katherine, granddad of 19 grandchildren, brother of Audrey Buckley (Blenheim), and son-in-law of Mrs Hannah (Hastings); In his 74th year. GODINET, John Ralph — Lost at sea, on June 17, 1985, dear loving husband of Alice, and loving father of Bumetta, Marlon, and Barbara, and brother-in-law of Peter and Paul Nelson. We never lose the ones we love, for even though they’re gone, within the hearts of those who care, their memory lingers on. Rest in peace.
