BOWES, Henry — On August 4, 1985, at Hastings, loved husband of Ena, 212 Lumsden Road, Hastings, father of Geoffrey, Jennifer Moloney (Wellington), and Alalstalr (Auckland); from the marriage of the late Valerie Bowes, stepfather of Derek Shaw (Auckland), Murray Shaw (Perth), and Rodney Shaw (Walnul, Banks Peninsula), father-in-law of Sandra, Fiona, David, Jenny, Barbara, and Katherine, granddad of 19 grandchildren, brother of Audrey Buckley (Blenheim), and son-in-law of Mrs Hannah (Hastings); In his 74th year. COWAN, Hector (Hoc) (late of Forfar Street) — On August 3, 1985, at The Princess Margaret Hospital, dearly loved husband of the late Jessie (nee Coutts) and Alice Cowan, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Joyce Groves, and Marlon and Pat Gollan (Twlzel), and loved granddad of his grandchildren and great-grand-children; aged 75 years. GODINET, John Ralph — Lost at sea, on June 17, 1985, dear loving husband of Alice, and loving father of Bumetta, Marlon, and Barbara, and brother-in-law of Peter and Paul Nelson.
