Two rapes unsolved
Two rapes reported to the Christchurch police this week remain unsolved, in spite of intensive inquiries. Detectives are continuing investigations into the rape of a woman, aged 31, early on Monday morning in a park off Retreat Road, Avonside. A woman, aged 18, was raped in her Cashel Street flat on Monday evening. The Christchurch C. 1.8. has appealed for information on the two rapes.
