Expert looks at bridge
PA Auckland A West German expert brought by the Ministry of Works and Development to study cracks in Auckland harbour bridge extensions has began work.
He is Dr Jochen Haensel, considered a world authority on bridges. The Ministry has kept in touch with Dr Haensel and his consultancy group since cracks in the bridge were found recently.
