Life Line is a 24 hour telephone counselling service operated by volunteers who offer care, understanding and acceptance to people in need. It was established 20 years ago in Christchurch by the Methodist Central Mission and is part of the Mission’s range of services available to the community. The Director' position requires a person with qualifications and qualities appropriate to the responsibilities of management, administration, supervision, competence in counselling, training and leadership of a staff team and a substantial number of volunteers. Hours are 30 a week subject to negotiation.
