COMPANY SECRETARY x Our client, a substantial private company engaged in the heavy transport equipment industry, as a manufacturer and as an importer, is seeking to appoint a Company Secretary. The Head Office is located in Christchurch. The company operates on a national basis, with substantial premises both in Christchurch and Auckland. The Company is heavily involved in the export of its products, particularly in the Pacific Basin and elsewhere, and substantially to Australia. The company has its own “inhouse" computer Duties include that of Financial Controller and the over-all responsibility for the accounting and secretarial functions of the company and its subsidiaries. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will: • Hold B. Com and/or A.C.A. qualifications. © Have had significant industrial experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Have an ability to supervise and motivate staff, and work as an integral part of the management team.
