Greyhound awards

STEVE WILSON
The Christchurch Greyhound Owners and Trainers Association’s top bitch award has gone to Golden Dollar, owned and trained by Des and Betty Cohen. She made spectacular progress through the grades during the season and now seems set to take on the top sprinters. Predictably Bark Man Bark was dog of the season with another top class performance. He currently holds the track record at Queen Elizabeth II Park for 330 m of 19.345. The awards are based on a points system of four for a win, two for second, and one for third, from all totalisator meetings held at Queen Elizabeth II Park in the 1984-85 season.
