Outright not coming

Special correspondent New Plymouth The Taranaki hurdler Outright, will not join his stablemates, Gun for Fun and Hutch, at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting, which begins at Riccarton tomorrow. The Okaiawa trainer, Kevin Myers, said Outright had been turned out for a spell. The eight-year-old gelding has not come back to his best since returning from Australia after an unsuccessful attempt at the Australian Grand National Hurdles. Meanwhile, Gun for Fun and Hutch left Taranaki yesterday and were expected in Christchurch last evening.
