Immigration inquiries
PA Wellington The Department’s Immigration Division says it is expecting an increase in inquiries from South Africa. The division’s director, Mr Don Bond, said he had already noticed an increase
in telephone calls direct from South Africa, from people wanting information. Mr Bond said South Africans wanting to emigrate to New Zealand would be considered in terms of normal immigration policy.
