Lightning toll
Ten students at a school in the eastern state of Orissa were killed by lightning. Five boys and five girls, ranging in age from eight to 14, were struck dead during lunchtime on their school campus near Baripada, about 200 km south-west of Calcutta. Eight others students were injured and admitted to a hospital. — New Delhi.
