Closer rifle grouping
The defeat of three of the top master grade teams in the first match of the second round, has resulted in close placings at the top of the Christchurch Smallbore Rifle Association competitions. Results.— Master grade: Paparua 588.29, Cashmere 584.18: United 582.23. Rail-East 58.16; Govt. Ladies 579.28, University 570.17. Senior grade: Sydenham 584.16, Richmond 577.22; Heathcote 580.16, Rail-East 569.13; Paparua 577.10, Lyttelton 559.15; Senior reserve grade: Cashmere 574.10, Paparua 573.12; CWMC 569.11, Rail-East 560.13.
