Canty beats Otago
Canterbury regained the Jarvis Rosebowl from Otago when it won the representative table tennis fixture, 17-7, at the association’s hall in Selwyn Street on Saturday. .The Canterbury men prevailed, 8-4, and the women fared even better, beating Otago, 9-3. Canterbury winning his three singles, while Ling Nan Ming, the former New Zealand player, signalled his return to the representative scene with two easy wins.
