CAIN, Samuel John (Jack) — I wish to thank all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and effection towards my husband and myself throughout Jacks long period of disablement. Without your help and understanding and constant visits Jack would never have been able to enjoy his last three years as he did. Thanks also to all who attended the Funeral Service and the comforting understanding of the Rev. Maurice Brown and the help of Mr Kelly handling all the funeral arrangements. To all who sent cards, telegrams and gifts of food my grateful thanks also. As many addresses are unknown please accept this as a personal acknowledgement. CAVILL, Percy Edmund— Alleen and family would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many cards, letters, telegrams, floral tributes, baking and expressions of sympathy received In the sad loss of a loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandad and great-granddad. Special thanks to the doctor, district nurses, staff of wards one and three Ashburton Public Hospital, also the many meals on wheels volunteers. Thanks to those who gave to the Foundation of the Blind and the Arthritis Foundation and to those who attended the church and graveside services. Your kindness will be forever remembered.
