SALARY RANGE: $28,443 — $29,923 per annum. DUTIES: The Thermal Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervision of Maintenance Section work force at Bell Bay. He is responsible for organising the day-to-day maintenance of all power station plant and equipment, the availability of spares and materials, maintenance of technical records, drawings and Information and will be required to participate in after-hours emergency work. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: An Engineering Certificate or other tertiary qualification would be an advantage but applicants should have served an apprenticeship in a trade appropriate to power station maintenance and hold the Trade Certificate. Experience in Thermal power stations is desirable or alternatively an extensive working knowledge of large plant and auxiliaries including electrical equipment.
