QUALIFICATIONS: A Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering acceptable for admission to membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia with at least 10 years in electrical engineering design and contract administration of major hydro-electric plant and equipment, or equivalent acceptable experience. THE COMMISSION: The Hydro-electric Commission is responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power throughout the State of Tasmania. In addition its activities include the construction of major civil and electrical engineering projects including roads, dams, tunnels, power stations and high voltage transmission lines.
