Profit steady
Fund of New Zealand Services, Ltd, has reported an after-tax profit of $213,249 ($205,610) for the year ended March 31. With realised gains from property sales of $334,834 ($36,000) and increased property revaluations of $4,697,021 ($749,262), it recorded a surplus of $5,245,104 ($990,872). Tax for the year was $179,748 ($127,176). There will be a taxfree distribution of 8c a share, amounting to $357,044.
