It is proposed to allow children to ride cycles on footpaths under certain conditions, principally not near shops, schools or hospitals. Your AA is concerned that people will miss the opportunity to have their sav on this important issue. Submissions close with the Parliamentary Road Safety Select Committee on 6 August 1985. AA Canterbury, actively involved in cycle safety, will make representations in support of a New Zealand AA submission. The AAC view will reflect attitudes of all in the Canterbury-West Coast area. AAC believes the issue requires full, open, public scrutiny. Because of the short time allowed to prepare submissions, the Association urges the 9 prompt input of everyone — AA members and nonI members, interested groups and organisations, anyone with a view. If you are not making an individual submission, we invite you to send the coupon below (Freepost) now. This is your chance to ensure your voice is heard. - 1 | (tick one) — check boxes Freepost!
