Fox Glacier: 150 cm powder snow on firm base; last fall July 9; ski planes and helicopter operating subject to weather. Mount Cook heli-ski: Base one metre; last fall scm July 9; dry powder ski-ing; helicopter operating subject to weather. Twixel heli-ski: 10cm powder on Im base; helicopter operating subject to weather. Rainbow: base 35 to 55cm; groomed powder, all facilities operating; chains essential.
