Miss March with Parsons

By

ALEX McMILLAN

Miss March, the winner of two races from the Awapuni stable of Peter Hurdle, will have her first start for the Balcairn trainer, John Parsons, in the Ben Area Handicap at Waimate tomorrow. The five-year-old daughter of Last Tango created a favourable impression when she finished a close second to Famillion at Ashburton two weeks ago, and the chestnut should have plenty of opportunities in Canterbury over the next few weeks. Miss March’s second placing at Ashburton was in fact the ninth occasion she had filled the runner-up position, while she has also been placed .third twice from 44 race smarts to date.
