Three other important product ranges stocked at Smiths City Market’s trade centre are tradesmen’s tools from Patience and Nicholson, of Kaiapoi; Sidchrome Tools; and Stanley Tools. Patience and Nicholson is an engineering firm that includes among its output drills, masonry drills and drill sets; handsaws and hacksaws; die nuts and threading taps. Sidchrome tools, manufactured in Australia, consist of sockets and socket sets — in imperial and metric measure — and
open-ended and ring spanners. Stanley Tools include planes; - chisels; screw drivers; handsaws, hacksaws, coping saws and hole saws; set squares; levels; and hand drills.
