Glenmark bull sale

Eight good quality polled Hereford bulls from M. G. and J. K. Gould, Rotherham, sold for an average price of $2912 at the Glenmark Bull Sale, Waipara, yesterday. A bull from the Goulds’ farm, The Hermitage, topped the sale with $3700 and a second bull made $3600. Three polled Herefords from J. E. Cooke, Lake Coleridge, averaged $1666 and included one at $2200. An Angus bull from Glenmark Stud, Waipara, sold at $2OOO, and an Angus from R. D. and G. W. Gould, Waipara, made $l2OO. Buying power came from the West Coast and North Canterbury.
