Public Notices WW / WAIMAIRI CENTRAL LIBRARY WORKROOM LOAN 1985 IT is hereby publicly notified that the Walmairl District Council, at its Ordinary Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Fendalton, on Wednesday, June 19,1985, resolved:— "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Government Act 1974, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Local Authorities Loans Exemption Order 1983 and amendments thereto, and all other Acts, if any, enabling it in that behalf, the Walmairl District Council resolves to proceed to raise in New Zealand a loan to be known as the WalmairlCentral Library Workroom Loan 1985 for an amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars (£50,000) for the purpose of erecting a central library workroom subject to the following determinations: 1 The maximum term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 10 years. 2 The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by any of the following methods of repayment — (a) By equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments of principal and interest; (b) By establishing a sinking fund before raising the said loan or any issue relating thereto and by making annual payments to such sinking fund. 3 No interest, instalment of principal and interest or payment to a sinking fund shall be paid outside New Zealand or out of loan money. 4 No agreement or arrangement shall be entered into with any person in respect of carrying out any part of the work for which this loan was sanctioned whereby that person is to subscribe to the. loan or receive any debentures or stock in satisfaction of all or part of the price for the carrying out of such work. 5 No agreement or arrangement shall be entered Into with any person to invest loan moneys or any part or parts thereof raised in accordance with the terms of this sanction whereby such investment would yield a rate of interest less than that which would be paid by the National Provident Fund on deposits with the Local Authorities Investment Pool from time to time. 6 Commission or fees may be paid in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof as the Board may determine from time to time. 7 Stock or debentures in the said loan may be issued at a discount provided that such discount shall not produce to any lender a yield exceeding the appropriate yield ' for the time being specified by the Local Authorities Loans Board and notified In the New Zealand Gazette as if money borrowed pursuant to this sanction were money to which the Gazette notice applies.” Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments thereto, It is hereby further publicly notified, that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Walmairl District Council, to be held In the Council Chambers, Fendalton, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 1985 for confirmation as a Special Order. Further public notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken if fifteen per cent of the ratepayers of the District of Walmairl so demand In writing under their hand, delivered or sent by post to the undersigned before 9 a.m. on the date fixed for the confirmation of the above resolution as a Special Order. PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR REMOVAL OF MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS LICENCE In the matter of the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1975 TAKE notice that Geoffrey Ralph Bone, of 228 Waltham Road, Christchurch 2, trading under the name or style of Libra Cars has applied to the Motor Vehicle Dealers Licensing Board for approval to remove Motor Vehicle Dealers License Number 7673 issued on the first day of April, 1985 at Wellington from premises situated at 228 Waltham Road, Christchurch 2, to premises situated at 200 Ferry Road, Christchurch 2, with a view to conducting business as a motor vehicle dealer pursuant to the licence at the lastmentioned premises.
