Duties include the design and construction of microcomputer and digital electronic equipment, involvement in a computer networking research project, and supervision and maintenance of workshops and equipment. Applicants should have some or all of the following: NZCS in Electronics, Limited Electrical Registration, a formal qualification in Computing. Competence in computer hardware and assembler programming is necessary. The position entails considerable responsibility and self-motivation. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
