N.Z. softball favourite
NZPA Washington The New Zealand colts softball team is odds-on favourite to win the boys’ section of the second youth world series in Fargo, North Dakota, if pre-tournament media interest and general publicity is anything to go by.
Interest is high in the small town in both the championships and in the New Zealand team, the first to arrive. They will be playing against teams from China-Taipei, Argentina, the Bahamas, Mexico, Japan (the defending champions) and Canada.
