TIMARU HARBOUR BOARD CONTRACT 206 CONSTRUCTION OF HEAVY DUTY WHARF CONTRACTORS are Invited to register their interest in tendering for the construction of 75m of heavy duty wharf which represents stage one of the North Mole Wharf Project. The work generally comprises the manufacture and installation of 60 concrete plies, construction of wharf deck, anchorage system and concrete retaining wall, the placing of armour rock and the Installation of fenders, bollards, rail and crane tracks. The wharf has been designed using 600 mm precast square, octagonal or round section piles with a cast in situ flat slab deck. Tenderers shall price the design specified in the contract documents and may also submit prices for alternative designs, subject to such proposals being in accordance with the specification. Documents will be made available to contractors, with proven experience In piling and wharf construction, on or before July 10, 1985.
